Keith Campbell, Chairman speaks of Mannington’s Innovative Manufacturing

A Message from Our Chairman

When my great grandfather founded Mannington Mills in 1915, he could hardly have imagined the success it would achieve, much less the complex environmental and social issues we would face. However, he recognized and identified the values that we use to guide us through every challenge along the way, because they resonate back to those he set forth – most notably, Do The Right Thing.

That's because we continue to maintain the very same ideals that guided his actions and decisions. Our legacy is one of loyalty and concern for all those associated with Mannington - associates, customers and neighbors alike.

To ensure that we leave a better world for generations to follow, we have to make certain that as we continue to grow we do not compromise anything. We simply must think further ahead and evaluate even more thoroughly and comprehensively the consequences of what we do. This is our clear responsibility as one of the world's largest and most diverse flooring manufacturers - and a responsibility we accept. This perspective aligns closely with our business model as well as our understanding of sustainability.

"We are constantly exploring ways to improve our products and manufacturing technologies to reduce our environmental footprint, increase resource efficiency, cut waste, and improve the use of recycled materials."

As part of this responsibility, our company has committed to continual environmental improvement. We are constantly exploring ways to improve our products and manufacturing technologies to reduce our environmental footprint, increase resource efficiency, cut waste, and improve the use of recycled materials. Innovation has long been a strength and core competency at Mannington, and it is even more so today. We've won significant recognition for our efforts to date and we've forged strong partnerships with other businesses, government agencies, and groups focused on environmental protection.

I'm proud of what the entire Mannington team has achieved so far on our journey, but we still have challenges still to meet. And I assure you, we will meet them. Why? Because it's critical to our long-term business success, to stay true to our values, and to grow our legacy for our stakeholders.

I hope you will read about and keep track of our achievements and ambitions. I trust you will contact us with any questions, concerns or ideas that might further our efforts. We share your interests in respecting and protecting the environment and our communities for today and for the future.

Sincerely,

Keith Campbell
Chairman of the Board
