ISO 14001 Facilities	ISO 14001 environmental management systems specifically monitor actions that may affect the environment, to ensure that they are understood, controlled and checked. The result is a highly organized and structured approach that ensures efficient, effective management and continual improvement of our environmental systems.
ISO 9001	Our Quality Management System (QMS) is third party certified to ISO 9001. The result is a highly organized and structured approach that ensures the efficient, effective management and continual improvement of our quality systems.
Carpet to Resilient	Relay RE breaks new ground offering a resilient sheet option with 35% recycled content - 20% post consumer and 15% pre-consumer. Infinity RE as its base, diverts one of the largest construction waste streams from the landfill - post-consumer carpet - and closes the loop by putting this recycled content back into new product.

Actions

Purple Martins	An environmentally sound approach to insect control - attracting purple martins. These birds eat lots of insects. We have purple martin gourds in our facilities and the populations of these migratory birds are growing.
Sample Return	One of the simplest ways to conserve resources is to reuse what we can. Return samples utilizing our postage-paid return labels and we will reuse the sample and send it on to the next user.
Department of Energy Better Plants Partner	Energy is a critical resource for our company and to our country. Mannington has set an ambitious goal to increase our energy efficiency and reduce carbon emissions. Over the next ten years, we will reduce our energy intensity by 25%. We have partnered with the US Dept of Energy and are now nationally recognized as a Better Plants Partner.

Certifications

NSF/ANSI-332	NSF/ANSI-332 (Sustainability Assessment for Resilient Flooring) is a U. S. national ANSI standard for the production of sustainable commercial resilient flooring. This standard addresses environmental performance and sustainability attributes of products and provides a means to track incremental changes to the products' sustainability profile.
FloorScore	Meets FloorScore certification for VOC emissions. Product testing is verified by SCS who examines all VOC emission test reports for compliance with CHPS 1350 and conducts periodic manufacturing plant inspections to review product formulas, processing and quality control.
Reycled Content Claim - 3rd Party Verified	Mannington has third party verified our recycled content claims.

NJDEP Environmental Stewardship

The Environmental Stewardship Program, developed by the NJDEP, publicly acknowledges the efforts of a few specific companies in the state whose practices routinely exceed requirements and regulations. The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection recognized Mannington for its exemplary efforts focusing on environmental responsibility.

Affiliations

U.S. Green Building Council	USGBC is the nation's foremost coalition promoting high performance green buildings that are environmentally responsible, profitable and healthy places to live and work. USGBC developed the LEED rating system as a voluntary, consensus-based national standard to support and validate successful green building design. Mannington has been an active member of USGBC since 1998.
CHPS 01350	Approved as CHPS compliant. Special Environmental Requirements work includes environmental, sustainable, and “green” building practices related to energy conservation and efficiency, indoor air quality, and resource efficiency.
Green Globes (GBI)	The Green Building Initiative owns the license for Green Globes. GBI is an accredited standards developer under the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and Green Globes is an official ANSI standard and is a revolutionary building environmental design and management tool. It delivers an online assessment protocol, rating system and guidance for green building design, operation and management.
