LOOP Carpet Reclamation Program
Mannington is diverting one of the largest construction waste streams by utilizing recycled carpet tile material for our Infinity RE Backing System. All recycled carpet tile projects over 2,500 sq. yds. will be reclaimed and recycled at no charge. An environmentally sound approach to insect control - attracting purple martins. These birds eat lots of insects. We have purple martin gourds in our facilities and the populations of these migratory birds are growing.
One of the simplest ways to conserve resources is to reuse what we can. Return samples utilizing our postage-paid return labels and we will reuse the sample and send it on to the next user.

Energy is a critical resource for our company and to our country. Mannington has set an ambitious goal to increase our energy efficiency and reduce carbon emissions. Over the next ten years, we will reduce our energy intensity by 25%. We have partnered with the US Dept of Energy and are now nationally recognized as a Better Plants Partner.
NSF/ANSI-140 Sustainable Carpet Assessment Standard is the first multi-attribute American National Standards Institute (ANSI) standard for building materials in the construction industry. The standard establishes performance requirements that address the triple bottom line - economic-environment-social equity - throughout the supply chain. The standard establishes a point-based, tiered certification system with three increasingly rigorous levels of certification; silver, gold, and platinum.
CRI Green Label Plus
GL+ is an independent carpet testing program that exceeds the CHPS indoor environmental quality standards for low-emitting products used in commercial settings. All Mannington Commercial carpet products pass CRI Green Label Plus certification for low VOC emissions.

USGBC is the nation's foremost coalition promoting high performance green buildings that are environmentally responsible, profitable and healthy places to live and work. USGBC developed the LEED rating system as a voluntary, consensus-based national standard to support and validate successful green building design. Mannington has been an active member of USGBC since 1998.

GBI is an accredited standards developer under the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and Green Globes is an official ANSI standard and is a revolutionary building environmental design and management tool.
