MANNINGTON HEADS INTO THE WOODS WITH NEW ADURA® MAX APEX FLOORS
SALEM, NJ, January 30, 2018—Homeowners who desire hardwood floors know that sometimes real wood just isn't a practical choice. Now rooms that are prone to spills and wet messes can still have the look of wood (plus the exceptional performance of a luxury vinyl tile) with Mannington’s new ADURA®MaxAPEX--floors that mix authenticity with durability and ease of care in innovative ways.
“ADURA®MaxAPEX offers everything a consumer could want: beautiful real-wood looks, combined with the incredible durability and performance of ADURA®Max. These LVT floors look like wood but have the waterproof properties of WPC,” says Jimmy Tuley, Vice President of Residential Resilient at Mannington.
“Our ADURA®MaxAPEX floors deliver the look of real wood with formats that include wide widths and long lengths as well as variable width and lengths. These realistic hardwood looks also feature detailed character, custom bevels and unique surface texture,” adds Joe Amato, Mannington's Vice President of Residential Styling. “This mix of renewed classic and on-trend designs capture the essence of real wood in ways we once could only imagine.”
This Spring, six new ADURA®MaxAPEX floors will debut at Mannington retailers.
A rich, refined European Oak design with exceptional character and detail, Aspen features 8-inch wide x 72-inch long planks crafted with a unique fuming process that highlights the natural cracks, unique knots and fine grain found in real oak. Available in four hues: Ash, Bark, Frost and Timber.
Chart House goes all in on one of the hottest trends in home design—shiplap. Each 6-inch wide x 36-inch long multi-length plank delivers the look of time-weathered rustic wood with an array of rabbet grooves, paint degradation and color contrast. Available in four hues: Anchor, Deck, High Tide and Shiplap.
A traditional reclaimed hickory look, Hilltop is crafted with a unique hand staining technique that creates a natural under-glow while adding depth and realism to the saw marks and knots of each 4, 6 and 8-inch wide x 48-inch long variable width plank. Available in four hues: Acorn, Cavern, Cliffside and Trail.
An urban chic look with rustic refined characteristics, Hudson features 4, 6 and 8-inch variable width x 48-inch long planks that are wire brushed and white-washed to capture the timeless beauty of white oak in a contemporary way. Available in three hues: Brownstone, Cobblestone and Stucco.
Like a beautifully aged fine wine, Napa is a character oak design with a classic European ceruse finish that reveals grain lines without affecting the overall color of the floor. Each 8-inch wide x 72-inch long plank is embellished with mineral streaks, deep knots and painted edges that give this rustic chic floor its remarkable character and rich under-glow. Available in four hues: Barrel, Dry Cork, Spirit and Tannin.
Spalted Wych Elm
A versatile design that easily transitions from traditional to contemporary settings, Spalted Wych Elm is a dramatic look with 8-inch wide x 72-inch long planks that feature authentic organic spalting, rich tonal variation and painted beveled edges. Available in five hues: Dew, Foliage, Mushroom, Soil and Wild Flower.
