Mannington Mills Partners With New Jersey Non-Profit to Build Home for Disabled Adults

SALEM, NJ, May 29, 2019—At Mannington, we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to live in a home that’s beautiful, comforting and supportive. So we were pleased to be part of a recent local community effort to build East House, an adult group home for The Arc Gloucester, a southern New Jersey non-profit organization that empowers individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families to achieve their highest potential through advocacy, education and quality services.

For The Arc Gloucester’s East House group home, Mannington Mills ADURA®Flex Aspen floors proved to be the perfect pick.

The four bedroom home features Mannington ADURA®Flex Aspen (color-Lodge) plank flooring, which is beautiful as well as durable and easy to clean and maintain.

The project was led and managed by builder Winfield Ziegenfuss, Jr. of Daniel Gregory, Inc., whose son, Gabriel, will be one of the residents.

“This wonderful home opens the door for each of the residents in East House to live life in a more independent way—something that every person deserves,” says Betsy Amoroso, Mannington Mills Senior Director of Corporate Communications. “We are honored that Mannington could be a part of this project, helping to make a true difference in the lives of each person who will call this place home.”

Since 1959, The Arc Gloucester has been assisting Southern New Jersey individuals with developmental disabilities and their families through a variety of residential, family support and adult training service programs.
