Mannington Announces John B. Campbell Award Recipient for Epes, Alabama, Site
SALEM, NJ, March 28, 2019—Mannington Mills is pleased to announce that Ronnie Spear has been named recipient of the John B. Campbell award for its Epes, Alabama, site. This annual award recognizes associates who exemplify the qualities that John B. Campbell valued and which continue to be the guiding principles of the company today— “Care, Do The Right Thing, Work Hard/Play Hard and Control Your Own Destiny.” Winners are selected from nominations submitted by Mannington employees, making this one of the highest honors an associate can receive for their service because it is an award from their peers.
“Although Mannington is now a global company with operations throughout North America and the U.K., we remain a small company at heart that values the contribution every associate makes,” says Keith Campbell, Mannington Mills Chairman of the Board. “Each year, it is an honor to announce the winners of the John B. Campbell award, which is based on values my family has always held dear.”
During his 13-year tenure at Mannington, Ronnie Spear, who is currently a Boiler Operator, has worked in a variety of areas for the company, excelling in each because of his keen ability -and eagerness- to learn new tasks. Spear is known as an associate who “dives right in on projects given to him” with a high level of excitement and versatility that has earned the respect and admiration of his colleagues.
