Mannington Announces John B. Campbell Award Recipient for High Point, North Carolina, Site

SALEM, NJ, December 18, 2018—Ron Carter and Alan Lindsey have been named recipients of Mannington Mill’s 2018 John B. Campbell award for its High Point, NC, site. This annual award recognizes associates who exemplify the qualities that John B. Campbell valued and which continue to be the guiding principles of the company today— “Care, Do The Right Thing, Work Hard/Play Hard and Control Your Own Destiny.” Winners are selected from nominations submitted by Mannington employees, making this one of the highest honors an associate can receive for their service because it is an award from their peers.

“Although Mannington is now a global company with operations throughout North America and the U.K., we remain a small company at heart that values the contribution every associate makes,” says Keith Campbell, Mannington Mills Chairman of the Board. “Each year, it is an honor to announce the winners of the John B. Campbell award, which is based on values my family has always held dear.”

Described by peers as a colleague whose thoughts carry weight but also keeps things light, Lindsey balances seriousness with a smile. He builds up those around him while also encouraging them to do their best.

In the two years that Ron Carter, Wood and Laminate Plant Engineering Services Manager, has been at Mannington, he has risen to the challenge of multiple plant operation with problem-solving skills and a positive attitude that his peers admire. Known for his dedication and how much he cares about the quality of work he provides, Carter exemplifies Mannington’s “Care” and “Do the Right Thing” values.
