Mannington’s team, dubbed “Russell’s Rowers,” was comprised of associates and their families from Mannington’s Madison and Calhoun, GA, locations. “This was Mannington’s first dragon boat race competition,” says Russell Grizzle, Mannington President and CEO, whose wife, Janice Grizzle, is one of the founders of Harmony House and served as the shelter’s first president of the Board of Directors. The Grizzle family remains very active in their support of the shelter and its mission. “Everyone who participated had a lot of fun, all while raising money for an important cause.”
Founded in 2005, Harmony House Domestic Violence Shelter is located in LaGrange, GA, and provides emergency shelter, crisis intervention and advocacy for adults and children who are domestic violence victims.
